These images explore the idea of dystopia. I wanted them to express people being at the bottom ot their existence. The key elements are associated with the isolation and emptiness of the environment, presenting the space as the beginning of the end.

This still life image of forks in twine emphasises my interest in creating beautiful images in the studio.
The simplicity of monochrome suits this portrait of my sister and friend. Both images are inspired by film noir the cinematic composition concentrate on the female form and sexuality.
The main element which I like about this shot is the drops of water on her face and hair. I also like the facial expression of calm and happiness. I am intrested in the way that an image can capture a single moment of emotion.
I have tried to show emotions like fear and violence. I think that this is a very strong image showing the power of man over the woman.
I have tried to show that the person is trapped emotionally and phisicaly by someone else, this often happens in real life.
The idea behind this experimental image was based on the idea of energy, the environment in the key to this as the isolated darkness provides an ideal setting for the light.

This is an image of a reflection of my boyfriend on a road trip we took. I like this image because of the way he is looking pensive. Also, the composition draws the viewer to the subject's eyes, which is the effect I was aiming for.
This is an image which I took at the Carole Nash Motorbike exhibition in Birmingham. I ride pillion on a motorbike with my boyfriend and this visit to the exhibition was also part of the project. This bike has taken a part in the Isle of Man TT Race in 2010. The image was also laureate of the motorbike calendar 'Polish Bikers 2010' published by Adrian Mirzejewski.
I particularly like this image because it shows my love of fruit and a healthy life style, which is an important part of my life.
By the shape of the heart I'm trying to portray a healthy life style. I also like the contrast of colours which makes the image aesthetically pleasing.
